TACE Combined With PMCT For Primary Huge Liver Cancer

Objective: To design a randomized controlled study,analysising the efficacy ? prognosisand safety of separately using transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)and the TACE combined with percutaneous microwave coagulation therapy(PMCT)in the treatment of primary huge liver cancer.Methods: A total of 91 patients with primary giant hepatocellular carcinoma(with a maximum tumor diameter of >10cm)who were diagnosed by pathological from 2011.9 to 2014.9were included in this study.Among them,40 cases with TACE treatment were included in the control group,the control group patients received at least 2 times TACE.51 patient with TACE combined with PMCT therapy were included in the observation group,which at least have 1time TACE treatment.Then,the clinical assessment of tumor was narrowed,which give the guide to continue to give percutaneous microwave coagulation therapy.If necessary,another TACE can be given.After treatment,two groups of patients were followed up for a long time,to Evaluate of the therapeutic effect of two groups Clinical outcomes and adverse reaction.Results: All the 91 patients included in this study were followed up completely,the observation group has a higher complete remission rate,partialremission rate and total effective rate than the control group(P<0.05).After therapy,the Child-pugh score of two groups were decreased.Both the two groups have an improvement in liver function.Moreover,the observation group has a better improvement than the control group(P=0.033).The median survival time of patients with the observation group was 14 months.While,the control group,the median survival time was 9 months,the difference was statistically significant(p<0.001).The observation group has a significantly longer overall survival than that of the control group(p=0.0013).Two groups of patients had no serious adverse reactions,and the incidence rate has no significant difference between the two groups of patients.Conclusion: In primary huge liver cancer,TACE combined with PMCT could significantly prolong the survival time of advanced patients compared to the TACE only patients.Its curative effect is reliable,high integrity and also has good clinical application value?...
