Objective: This study will measure the SNP status of RRM1 of patients with NSCLC in Uygur and Han,and analysis the differences of SNP of RRM1 between Uygur and Han,and provide a scientific basis for individualized treatment of patients with NSCLC in Uygur.Methods: Extracted DNA from blood of 110 patients with NSCLC in Uygur and Han(including 51 cases of Uygur,59 cases of Han),determined the gene type of RRM137 by Polymerase chain reaction-Restrietion fragment lengthpolymorphism(PCR-RFLP)and RRM1524 by direct sequencing method.Analysis the difference of SNP of RRM137 and 524 between patients with NSCLC in Uygur and Han,and further analyze the correlation between the SNP of RRM1 and the sensibility of gemcitabine based chemotherapy in patients with NSCLC in Uygur and Han.Results: 1.In patients with NSCLC who use gemcitabine based chemotherapy,the RRM137 CC and RRM1524 CT genotype was more sensitive to gemcitabine based chemotherapy in Uygur,and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.011,P=0.007);the RRM137 AC and RRM1524 CT genotype was more sensitive to gemcitabine based chemotherapy in Han,and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.021,P=0.014).2.There had no significant difference of the SNP of RRM137 and 524 between patients with NSCLC in Uygur and Han(P>0.05).3.The gender,age,smoking status,TNM stage,pathological type and ECOG score of patients with NSCLC in Uygur and Han showed no significant difference with the sensibility of gemcitabine based chemotherapy(P>0.05).Conclusion: 1.There has a different sensibility of gemcitabine based chemotherapy between different SNP of RRM137 in patients with NSCLC in Uygur and Han,Patients with NSCLC who has RRM137 CC in Uygur and RRM137 AC in Han has better sensibility of gemcitabine based chemotherapy.2.There has a similar sensibility of gemcitabine based chemotherapy between different SNP of RRM1524 in patients with NSCLC in Uygur and Han.3.There has a similar composition of RRM1 37 and 524 between NSCLC petients in Uygur and Han.
