Objective The aim of this paper was to investigate the expression of MMP-14 and CD31-MVD in colorectal carcinoma and their clinical significance in tumor invasion and metastasis.Brief analysis the correlation of MMP-14 and CD31 with the occurrence, development, invasion and metastasis of colorectal cancer.,in order to provide some guidance for the treatment and prognosis of colorectal cancer patients in the future. Methods 1.Detect the expression of MMP-14 and CD31-MVD by immunohistochemistry in 60 cases of colorectal carcinoma and 20 cases of normal tissues from resection margin.Furthermore, analyze the relationship between MMP-14 and CD31-MVD and the clinical pathological data of colorectal cancer patients.2.Detect the expression of MMP-14 m RNA by q RT-PCR in 20 cases of fresh colorectal carcinoma tissues and normal tissues from resection margin, analyze the relationship of colorectal cancer patients.3.Use SPSS17.0 statistical software to analyze the data.Combine with the clinical pathological data to analyze the relationship and explore the clinical significance between MMP-14 and CD31-MVD and the colorectal cancer patients.Results(1)The positive expression rate of MMP-14 and CD31-MVD in colorectal carcinoma tissues were significantly higher than those in the normal tissues from resection margin(P<0.05).(2)The expression of MMP-14 and CD31-MVD were correlated with tumor size, depth of invasion,TNM stage and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05),but there was no significant correlation with gender and age of patients(P>0.05).(3)The expression of MMP-14 was positively correlated with CD31-MVD.(4)The expression of MMP-14 m RNA in colorectal carcinoma were significantly higher than that in the normal tissues from resection margin(P<0.01).Conclusion The high expression of MMP-14 and CD31-MVD in colorectal carcinoma were closely related to the occurrence, invasion and metastasis of colorectal cancer. The detection of MMP-14 and CD31-MVD may be helpful for the clinical treatment and prognosis of patients with colorectal cancer.
