| Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of lysyl oxidase(LOX)and cluster of differentiation 147(CD147)in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods 118 cases of NSCLC tissue specimen and medical records were collected from clinical.By immunohistochemical(IHC)detecting the expression of LOX protein and CD147 protein in 118 cases of NSCLC,corresponding paraneoplastic tissues and normal lung tissue; The m RNA levels of LOX and CD147 were investigated by real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction(Real-time PCR)in 36 cases of NSCLC tissus, corresponding paraneoplastic tissues and normal lung tissue. And then discussed the relationship between the expression of LOX、CD147 and pathological type, tumor differentiation, tumor size, lymph node metastasis and TNM stage. Results IHC staining results showed that LOX protein mainly expressed in the cytoplasm and CD147 mainly expressed in the cytoplasm and the cell membrane. The positive expression of LOX or CD147 in NSCLC tissues was significantly higher than corresponding paraneoplastic tissues and normal lung tissues(P<0.05).There was significant correlation between the expression of LOX and tumor differentiation, tumor size, lymph node metastasis and TNM stage(P<0.05).There was significant correlation between the expression of CD147 and tumor differentiation, tumor size, lymph node metastasis and TNM stage(P<0.05).IHC staining results showed that the LOX protein were positively correlated with the CD147 protein expression in NSCLC(r P=0.578,P<0.01).RT-PCR staining results showed that the LOXm RNA were positively correlated with the CD147 m RNA expression in NSCLC(r P=0.682,P<0.01).Conclusion The high expression of LOX and CD147 may play a pivotal role in the occurrence and development of NSCLC,and may act in synergy to promote the invasion and metastasis of NSCLC. |
