Dental implant treatment has been widely used in the repair of dentition defect,sometimes,because of the bone deficiency of planting area,the success rates of dental implants are greatly reduce,leading the limit of scope of the implant denture,so it is the main problem currently faced by oral and maxillofacial surgeons.Among them,GBR(Guided Bone Regeneration)technology can effectively solve the problem of bone mass,and the barrier membrane plays an important role in guiding bone regeneration,which determines the success or failure of GBR technology.On the basis of previous studies,this study was conducted to study the effect of ICA-SF/PLCL core shell structure with ICA as a barrier membrane on the repair of rat skull defects.Methods: the core shell structure of ICA-SF/PLCL nanofiber membrane with ICA was prepared and used in animal experiments.A total of 27 male SD rats were selected to prepare a skull bone defect with a diameter of 8mm,and the ICA-SF/PLCL barrier membrane was used to repair the skull defect.The experiment was divided into 3 groups: A:ICA-SF/PLCL(ICA-SF/PLCL was implanted in the defect area with ICA with core shell structure);B:SF/PLCL(defect zone was implanted with SF/PLCL membrane);C: blank control group(the defect area was not implanted with membrane).The animals were sacrificed at 4,8 and 12 weeks after operation,and the effect of the barrier membrane was evaluated by gross observation,micro CT imaging and histological analysis.The results were statistically analyzed by SPSS20.0 software package.Results: the barrier membrane implanted into rat skull defect area.after 4 weeks,8 weeks and 12 weeks,we are all visible new bone formation with time increased through the examination by image analysis of bone mineral density,bone formation and tissue staining analysis of HE.but the blank control group no obvious changes,the experimental group was significantly increased(p<0.05).Conclusion: Through the use of electrospinning parameters on the early exploration of the research team,the core-shell nanofibers were successfully prepared,and we found that it has good osteoinductive activity through a series of physical and chemical tests for animal experiments,the osteogenesis of stability is confirmed by histological and imaging tests.
