Objective: Atherosclerosis(as)is the main cause of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases,30% ~ 35% of the ischemic stroke is caused by carotid atherosclerosis.In this context,accurate and comprehensive understanding of the characteristics of carotid atherosclerosis has important clinical significance.It is very important that how to evaluate carotid atherosclerosis better,and how to judge the extent and speed of it,as well as the effective method of clinical observation.Along with the development of medical ultrasound,carotid atherosclerotic plaques are known,using two-dimensional color Doppler ultrasound to evaluate the neck and neck atherosclerosis has been widely used in clinical medicine,2D neck color Doppler ultrasound of easy operation,low price,no trauma.However,ultrasound is not conducive to short-term follow-up of patients.First of all,the operating personnel in different ultrasonic follow-up will lead to differences in measured values,even if the same examination were ultrasound examination,because of different angle,probe,also will cause differences in plaque measurement.Secondly,carotid intima-media thickness,plaque thickness,annual change in plaque area is very small,short-term is not obvious follow up differences.Thirdly,two-dimensional color Doppler ultrasound can not measure the neck and neck patch size.With the development of the three neck color Doppler ultrasound technology,measuring plaque volume as possible,three-dimensional neck color Doppler ultrasound can form different angles from the omni-directional observation of cervical plaque,the plaque was full.Statins are currently an important for prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis and hypercholesterolemia on the clinical drugs,statins can not only for patients with stroke brain tissue and blood vessels have a protective effect,but also can significantly reduce the blood lipid level of patients withstroke,in the prevention and treatment of stroke play a very active role.Therefore,this study is the analysis of arterial plaque volume changes by three neck neck ultrasound with color Doppler imaging technology,aims to explore the three neck color Doppler ultrasonography on carotid artery plaque changes were observed in patients with stroke volume,to study the short-term effect of tube neck blood volume changes in plaque and observation of statins on atherosclerosis.Methods: From January 2015 to March 2016 in our hospital neurology department for ischemic stroke inpatients and two-dimensional ultrasound confirmed the presence of 45 cases of carotid artery plaques in patients,according to whether statins are divided into treatment group(26 cases)and treatment group(15 cases),Collect and record the patient's gender,age,height,weight,waist hip ratio,past history,alcohol addiction and other clinical information,use the Philip IU elite color Doppler ultrasound instrument of carotid plaque in patients with three neck color Doppler ultrasound scanning vl13-5 volume probe,observation and measurement of neck vascular intimamedia thickness,plaque thickness,plaque the area,plaque volume,changes of plaque echo.The changes of plaque volume were observed after 3 months and6 months.Results: the neck plaque volume,blood lipids,C reactive protein differences at baseline and follow-up of 3 months and 6 months were statistically significant,suggesting that regular statin drugs in reducing blood fat,improve endothelial function,reduce lesion inflammation,but also can improve the stability of the plaque and plaque reversal that is to delay atherosclerosis protective factors.Result:1 The use of three-dimensional ultrasound Doppler to observe the carotid artery plaque volume is a better short-term follow-up monitoring indicators.2 There was a significant difference between the patients with statins and those who did not take statins,and there was a significant difference in the volume of the neck vessels between 3 months and 6 months(baseline,P<0.05).3 Statins can significantly reduce blood lipids,and anti-inflammatory,anti oxidative stress(P<0.05,a significant difference).4 The average volume of plaque decreased in patients taking different kinds of statins.Conclusion:1 The change of carotid artery plaque in short-term follow-up time is most likely to occur in the three-dimensional parameters.The volume of the plaque of the three-dimensional Doppler ultrasound parameters is more sensitive than the two-dimensional ultrasound in the quantitative changes of plaque.2 Three dimensional Doppler ultrasound is easy to operate,low cost,no trauma,human intervention is small,is conducive to the treatment of repeated examination,in order to dynamically observe the changes of the plaque.3 Regular use of statins in addition to significantly reduce blood lipids,but also has a stable plaque,improve vascular endothelial cells,can reduce lipid deposition and inflammatory factor release,which has anti vascular oxidation,anti inflammation of the blood vessel wall.4 The protective effect of statins on the prevention and treatment of atherosclerotic plaque has a positive effect on the protection of brain and blood vessels in patients with stroke.
