The Clinical Application Of Post Aurem Rectangular Gliding Advanced Skin Flap In Repairing Moderate-severe Helix Defect

ObjectiveDiscuss the methods and clinical application ofrectangular gliding advanced skin flap on post aurem and mastoidregion in repairing skin defect of helix.MethodsSince March 2015 to July 2016,20 patients who is with skin defect of helix receivedthe treatment of the improved operation.They underwent helix stump implantation onpost aurem and mastoidregion in phase I.After 6 weeks,they underwent skin flap pedicledivision plasty and the skin defect on post aurem and mastoid region was repaired byrectangular gliding advanced skin flap.Results All cases were followed up for 3 to 15 months.We found that all the pedicle division flaps and advanced skin flaps were healedsatisfactorily without the complication of hemodynamic disorder,infection and putrescence.The auricle got good shape and the outline of regeneratepinna was clear and smooth with similar thickness and colour with surrounding skin.The scar was not obvious on helix and post aurem and mastoidregion.The result was satisfactory.ConclusionThe improved operation possessed the advantages of good shape and simple.Postoperativescars were not obvious.It is worthy of clinical application.
