Objective:To investigate the expression of CaSR in invasive ductal breast carcinoma, breast fibroma and para-carcinoma normal breast tissues, and to explore the correlations between CaSR and the clinical pathology factors of the invasive ductal breast carcinoma in aspects such as patient's age, tumor size, clinical stage, regional lymph node and so on.At the same time,to study the differences of CaSR expressed in invasive ductal breast carcinoma of different molecular classification and analyze the significance.Methods:126 cases of breast tissue were collected from January 2012 to July 2015 in Fujian Provincial Hospital, including 82 cases of invasive ductal breast carcinoma,25 cases of breast fibroma and 19 cases of para-carcinoma normal breast tissue. All of the patients were not treated with radiation therapy, endocrine therapy, targeted therapy and neoadjuvant chemotherapy before surgery. The expression of CaSR in invasive ductal breast carcinoma, breast fibroma and para-carcinoma normal breast tissue was detected by MaxvisionTM / HRP immunohistochemistry. All data were analyzed by SPSS19.0,using nonparametric test,P <0.05 means the difference is statistically significant.Results:1.The expression of CaSR in invasive ductal breast carcinoma, breast fibroma and para-carcinoma normal breast tissue had a significant difference(P <0.05).Among them, there were 45 strong positive cases in 82 of invasive ductal breast carcinoma(54.88%),1 strong positive case in 25 breast fibroma(4%)and 0 strong positive case in 19 para-carcinoma normal breast tissue(0%).2.The expression of CaSR in invasive ductal breast carcinoma, breast fibroma and para-carcinoma normal breast tissue was statistically significant(P <0.05): invasive ductal breast carcinoma> breast fibroma, invasive ductal breast carcinoma> para-carcinoma normal breast tissue, breast fibroma > para-carcinoma normal breast tissue.3.The expression of CaSR on the invasive ductal breast carcinoma of the triple-negative and non-triple-negative was significantly different(P <0.05): nontriple-negative> triple-negative.There were 36 strong positive cases in 57 of nontriple-negative invasive ductal breast carcinoma(63.16 %),9 strong positive cases in 25 of triple-negative invasive ductal breast carcinoma(36.00%)4.Expression of CaSR in invasive ductal breast carcinoma of five molecular classifications: LuminalA subtype >HER-2 over-expression subtype;LuminalA subtype > triple-negative subtype;LuminalB1 subtype >HER-2 over-expression subtype;LuminalB1 subtype>triple-negative subtype;LuminalB2 subtype >HER-2 over-expression subtype,(P <0.05).There was no significant difference in CaSR expression among LuminalA subtype,LuminalB1 subtype and LuminalB2 subtype. And there was no significant difference in Ca SR expression between HER-2 over-expression subtype and triple-negative subtype.5.The expression of CaSR in invasive ductal breast carcinoma was not significantly correlated with patient's age, menstruation status, clinical stage, histological grade, tumor size, tumor calcification status, regional lymph node status and BRCA-1(P> 0.05).Conclusions:1.The expression of CaSR in invasive ductal breast carcinoma is higher than that in breast fibroma and normal breast tissue, suggesting that the development of invasive ductal breast carcinoma may be related to the high expression of CaSR.2.The expression of CaSR in invasive ductal breast carcinoma of nontriple-negative subtype was higher than that of triple-negative subtype, the difference was statistically significant, and in non-triple-negative subtype invasive ductal breast carcinoma, the expressions of CaSR in LuminalA subtype,LuminalB subtype,LuminalB1 subtype were higher than that of HER-2 over-expression subtype which is with lower prognosis, suggesting that low expression of CaSR may be related to poor prognosis of breast cancer.
