Study On The Water-soluble Chemical Constituents Of Rhizome And Acrial Part Of Zingiber Officinale Rosc

Ginger(Zingiber officinale Rosc.)is fresh rhizome of Zingiber from Zingiberaceae.It is perennial herb.Ginger has a long history of medicinal used in China.In recent years,volatile oil,ginger extract,diphenyl heptane and other chemical compositions have been isolated from ginger.Modern pharmacological studies had shown that ginger has anti-inflammatory,anti-bacterial,anti-oxidation and antiemetic activities.At present,the study on chemical composition of ginger were mainly mainly focus on the fat-soluble components of alcohol extracted,but its water-soluble chemical compositions have less reported.In addition,We found that there were few literatures reported about the chemical composition of acrial part of Zingiber officinale Rosc..Therefore,in this study,the 60% acetone-water extracted of rhizome and acrial part from ginger were systematically studied in order to further understand the chemical constituents of ginger and enrich the chemical composition of it.In this study,29 compounds were isolated and identified from 60% acetone-water extracted of ginger rhizome by repeated use of MCI gel CHP 20 P,TSK gel Toyopearl HW-40 F and Cosmosil 75 C18-OPN chromatography column and so on.They are respectively: zingerone(1),[4]-gingerol(2),methyl vanillate(3),(3S,5S')-1-(4-Hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-3,5-decanediol(4),[6]-shogaol(5),[6]-gingerol(6),5R-3-Heptanone,5-hydroxy-1,7-bis(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)(7),?-Terpineol 8-?-D-glucopyranoside(8),1-(4-O-?-DGlucopyranosyl–3-methoxyphenyl)-3,5-dihydroxy decane(9),5-O-?-D-Glucopyranosyl-3-hydroxy-1-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)decane(10),Myristin D(11),5-O-?-Dglucopyranosyl-3-hydroxy-1-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-octane(12),Hydroxycineole-10-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(13),2,6-Dimethyl-2,6-octadiene-1,8-diol(14),Kankanoside P(15),8-hydroxy-3,7-dimethyl-2,6-octadienyl-?-D-Glucopyranoside(16),Vicodiol 2-O-?-Dglucopyranoside(17),Kankanoside O(18),Angelicoidenol 2-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(19),zingiberoside C(20),(2E,6R)-3,7-Dimethyl-2-octene-1,6,7-triol(21),(3R,6E)-3,7-dimethyl-8-hydroxy-6 octenoic acid 8-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(22),Isotachioside(23),arbutin(24),(1R,3S,4S)-trans-3-Hydroxy-1,8-cineole ?-D-glucopyranoside(25),trans-3,6-dihydroxy-1,8-cineole 3-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(26),5,9-dihydroxy borneol 2-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(27),(2E)-4-Hydroxy-2-methyl-2-buten-1-yl ?-D-glucopyranoside(28),2-Propyl ?-D-glucopyranoside(29).Among them,compounds 12,26,27 are new compounds;compounds 8,11,15,17,18,21,25 were isolated from family Zingiberaceae for the first time.18 compounds were isolated and identified from 60% acetone-water extracted of ginger acrial part by repeated use of MCI gel CHP 20 P,TSK gel Toyopearl HW-40 F,Cosmosil 75 C18-OPN chromatography column and so on.They are respectively: Phloroglucinol 1-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(30),trans-Feruloylmalate(31),6-hydroxypurine(32),6,7-Dihydroxy-3,7-dimethyloct-2-enoic acid(33),4,6-dihydroxy-2-methoxyphenyl 1-O-?-Dglucopyranoside(34),3,4-dihydroxyphenyl-?-D-Glucopyranoside(35),2,4-Dihydroxyphenyl ?-D-glucopyranoside(36),4-Hydroxyl-3,5-dimethoxyl-6-O-?-D-glucosebenzene(37),1,1-Dimethylprop-2-enyl 1-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(38),6-Hydroxy-2-O-?-D-glucopyranosylheptane(39),sachaloside VII(40),Pseuderanoside(41),Kaempferol 3-rhamnosyl(1?6)glucose(42),Quercetin 7-O-?-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1?6)-?-D-glucopyranoside(43),Quercetin 3-O-Rhamnopyranosyl-(1?6)-?-D-galactopyranoside(44),Kaempferol 3-O-?-Dglucopyranoside-7-O-?-L-rhamnopyranoside(45),Kaempferol 3-robinoside-7-rhamnoside(46),8-Oxogeraniol(47).Among them,compounds 31,33~41,43,47 were isolated from family Zingiberaceae for the first time.
