Objective:To compare the curative effect of PELNAC and transposition flap repairing fingertip skin defects.Methods:From September 2014 to June 2016,28 cases of 31 fingers with fingertip skin defects were treated with PELANC and transposition flap.To research the advantages and disadvantages of the two surgical methods by comparing the operation time,hospitalization time,postoperative recovery of two points of discernment,appearance and functional satisfaction and hospital experience satisfaction.Results:12 cases(13 fingers)were repaired with PELNAC,12 fingers were completely succeed with a single covering of PELNAC.Only one patient suffered a large wound was repaired two times.18 flaps of 16 cases were successfully repaired by local flaps.Sixteen flaps survived successfully,and two flaps showed venous crisis within 24 hours.After feasible treatment,the flaps survived.All patients were followed up for 3.1 to 15.0 months,mean(7.7± 0.5)months.Compared with the flap repair group,the hospitalization satisfaction were higher of the PELNAC group.Also the operation time,the hospitalization time and the postoperative recovery of the discernment were significantly better than those in the flap group.There was no statistically significant difference in the satisfaction of appearance and functional satisfaction.Conclusion:Comparing the two methods of PELNAC and transposition flap repairing fingertip skin defects,the former 's operation time is shorter,less trauma,the sensory recovery is better,more hospital experience satisfaction,hospital span shorter.Compared with the two methods,PELNAC repairingfingertip skin defect method is simple,without complex microsurgical techniques,more satisfaction,without damage to the donor site,it is worthy of clinical application.
