Objective: This thesis aimed at detecting the level of serum copeptin in patients with PCOS,and analyzing the correlation with other metabolic indices.To investigate the relationship between copeptin and insulin resistance,and the significance of copeptin in predicting the risk of metabolic diseases and cardiovascular disease in PCOS patients.Methods: This study collected 60 cases of PCOS patients,at the same time selected 60 cases of normal menstruation period women of childbearing age as the control group,PCOS group and control group were divided into obese group(BMI ?25kg/m2,n=30)and non-obese group(BMI <25kg/m2,n=30)according to body mass index(BMI).The people's blood pressure,height,weight,abdominal girth,hip circumference were measured,as well as their WHR and BMI were calculated.Peripheral venous blood samples were collected to detect the biochemical indicators of serum in all individuals concerning the factors of copeptin,FPG,FINS,T,LH,FSH,LDL-C,HDL-C,TG,TC and HOMA-IR,and did same statistical analysis on relevant data.Results:1 The level of T,LH,SBP and DBP,TG,FPG,FTNS and HOMA-IR in PCOS patients were higher than those in control group.Serum copeptin level in PCOS patients was significantly elevated when compared to control group(P<0.05),HDL-C level was lower in PCOS group(P<0.05).The comparison of BMI,WHR,TC,LDL-C and FSH between the two groups had no statistical significance(P>0.05).2 WHR,BMI,TG,FPG,FINS,SBP and DBP,HOMA-IR and copeptin level were higher in obese PCOS group than in non-obese PCOS group(P<0.05),while HDL-C and LH were evidently lower(P<0.05).Copeptin level,BMI,WHR,TG,FPG,FINS and HOMA-IR were higher in obesecontrol group than those in non-obese control group(P<0.05),But HDL-C was lower in non-obese control group(P<0.05).Compared to obese control group,DBP,LH,T,FPG,FINS,HOMA-IR and copeptin level were higher in obese PCOS group(P<0.05),There was a decrease in HDL-C(P<0.05).Copeptin level,TG,FPG,FINS,LH,T and HOMA-IR were higher in nonobese PCOS group than non-obese control group(P<0.05).FSH,TC,LDL-C and age between the four subgroups had no statistical significance(P>0.05).3 The level of serum copeptin had a positive correlation with WHR,BMI,TG,FPG,FINS and HOMA-IR,and had a negative correlation with HDL-C(P<0.05),but there was no relationship between the copeptin level and age,FSH,LH,T,TC,LDL-C,SBP and DBP(P>0.05).Conclusion:1 The level of copeptin was obliviously higher in patients with PCOS,and serum copeptin level had a positive correlation with HOMA-IR,which Suggested that copeptin may be associated with the development of insulin resistance in PCOS.2 Copeptin level was positively correlated with BMI,WHR,FPG,FINS,TG,and had a negative correlation with HDL-C,which indicated that copeptin may play an important role in the prediction of metabolic diseases and cardiovascular disease risk of PCOS.
