Clinical Effects Of Professor Cai's Duo-nang Decotion To Glucose And Lipid Metabolism Disorder Of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Objective: Summarize and refine the famous Chinese medicine practitioners of Professor Cai's Academic thinking,To observe the regulating effect of Cai's empirical formula(Duo Nang Decoction)on PCOS glycolipid metabolism.Provide ideas for the treatment of PCOS patients.Methods: Non-randomized concurrent control study method was used.the patients were divided into 2groups: treatment group(TCM)and control group(metformin).The changes of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR),blood lipid,sex hormone level,menstruation,body mass index(BMI)and waist-hip ratio(WHR),clinical symptoms,ultrasound,insulin like growth factor-1 were observed before and after treatment.Results: 1.Comparison of the total effective rate between the two groups: 76 patients were observed clinically,45 in the treatment group,the total effective rate was 93.0%,and 31 in the control group,the total effective rate was 58.0%.There was a significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(P < 0.05).2.Comparisons of glucose and lipid metabolism indicators between the two groups: FBG,FINS,IR and TG indicators decreased after treatment,but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05);HLD in the polycystic prescription group improved after treatment,but there was no significant difference(P > 0.05).3.Comparison of sex hormone indicators between the two groups: LH and LH/FSH in the two groups were improved after treatment,with statistical significance(P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05);FSH in the two groups after treatment was lower than before treatment,with significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P < 0.05),but there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference in the treatment group(P < 0.05),but there was significant difference in the control group(P > 0.05).4.Comparison of clinical symptoms between the two groups: the menstrual cycle of the treatment group was shorter than that before treatment,and the score of menstrual symptoms was lower than that before treatment,with statistical significance(P < 0.05),while the improvement of menstrual cycle of the control group was only significant(P < 0.05),but the score of menstrual symptoms had no statistical significance(P > 0.05);BMI of the treatment group had no statistical significance before and after treatment(P > 0.05),but the treatment group had no statistical significance.The weight and waist circumference of the posterior group were significantly lower than those of the anterior group(P < 0.05).5.Comparisons of pregnancy rate between the two groups: 22 cases in the treatment group had pregnancy requirement,10 cases in the treatment group had pregnancy requirement,the pregnancy rate was 45%,17 cases in the control group had pregnancy requirement,2 cases in the control group had pregnancy requirement,the pregnancy rate was 11%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Duo-nang decotion can improve insulin resistance,reduce hyperinsulinemia and improve lipid metabolism,and its effect is no less than metformin.T and LH levels and LH/FSH ratio were decreased.Improve menstrual cycle,reduce weight,improve pregnancy rate,compared with metformin has obvious clinical advantages.There were no obvious side effects in clinical observation.
