Objective To investigate the correlation between arteriosclerosis index,coronary calcification score and serum uric acid level,urate crystal deposition in hospitalized patients.Method 104 patients who were admitted to the Department of Cardiology were included in the study from July 2016 to February 2017,all patients underwent routine detection of blood uric acid level and joint color ultrasound examination to detect urate crystal deposition existed in the bilateral first metatarsophalangeal joint,ankle joint or knee joint exist.36 of all patients that suspected coronary artery disease underwent coronary CTA examination,and coronary artery calcification score was calculated,100 patients underwent vascular function tests to measure brachial ankle pulse wave velocity(ba PWV),ankle-brachial index(ABI)and pulse pressure(PP).The correlation between ba PWV,ABI,PP,coronary artery calcification score and joint urate crystals was analyzed.Results(1)With the rise of serum uric acid level,the rate of articular urate crystal deposition increased.(2)There was no statistically significant difference that the brachial ankle pulse wave velocity,ankle brachial index,pulse pressure and the rate of coronary artery calcification [ ba PWV(1544.00 vs 1611.25cm/s),ABI(1.14 vs 1.17),PP(53.5 vs 54.0mm Hg),the rate of coronary artery calcification(52.4% vs 73.3%),P >0.05] between the normal serum uric acid group and hyperuricemia group.(3)The brachial ankle pulse wave velocity,ankle brachial index,pulse pressure and the rate of coronary artery calcification [ ba PWV(1698.81 vs 1588.72cm/s),ABI(1.15 vs 1.18),PP(60.46 vs 55.68 mm Hg),the rate of coronary artery calcification(45.5% vs 68.0%),P >0.05] were not significant different between the articular urate crystal deposition group and without articular urate crystal deposition group.(4)The Spearman correlation coefficients between the brachial ankle pulse wave velocity(ba PWV),pulse pressure(PP),coronary calcification score and articular urate crystals were-0.167,-0.167,0.096(P >0.05).(5)The multiple linear regression of the risk factors of ba PWV suggests that age,systolic blood pressure,and diabetes mellitus are the main risk factors.Major risk factors of PP are systolic blood pressure,sex and age.Age is the major risk factor of coronary calcification.Conclusion This study does not confirm arteriosclerosis,coronary calcification is associated with serum uric acid level and urate phosphate deposition.Large sample studys are need to confirm it in further.
