Clinical Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Combination Of Traditional Chinese Medicine And Western Medicine On Genital Condyloma Acuminatum

Objective:To study the cure rate and cost advantage of Chinese herbal decoction with combination of carbon dioxide laser and interferon for the treatment of recurrent condyloma acuminatum on vulva and anus condyloma acuminatumMethod: We select 90 condyloma acuminatum patients from dermatology of Changzhou Wujing Chinese medicine hospital.We divided them in to two groups,45 patients are study group and the others are control group.To the control treatment group we apply the therapies of carbon dioxide laser and external using interferon.Meanwhile,base on the therapies to the control group,the experimental treatment group will add Chinese herbal decoction for the treatment of recurrent condyloma acuminatum to compare.The therapy period is 3 month and we will keep following up our patients after finishing the experiment to check whether there will be any palindromia under the standard of no new lesions appearing and Acetic acid white test,also,we would figure out the expense of the treatment.The result will be analyzed by SPSS 20.0.Result:There should be 90 people involved in this experiment,however,there were 7patients in experimental group and 10 patients in control group gave up the treatment due to the personal reasons.the experimenter tried to keep in touch with these patients,but the patients still refused the follow up.Eventually,The exact number of experimental population is 73.After treatment,the cure rate of experiment group is 71.1% and the recurrence rate is 28.9%,meanwhile,the cure rate of control group is 37.1% and the recurrence rate is 62.9%.The cure rate of experiment group is much higher than the control group and the recurrence rate is much lower.After statistical processing,the value of x^2is 8.458,it obviously has statistical significance.A course of treatment cost 3000 CNY in experimental group and 4500 CNY in control group(Including 1500 for Chinese herbalmedicine)Conclusion: 1.the effect of Chinese medicine combines with carbon dioxide laser and interferon to cure vulva and anus condyloma acuminate is superior to carbon dioxide laser and interferon.2.from the aspect of pharmaceutical economics,Chinese medicine combines with carbon dioxide laser and interferon the former is worth to be generalized to primary hospital.
