Objectives:Through the retrospective analysis of patients with colorectal polyps Endoscopic and clinical pathological characteristics, and comparison of these patients blood lipid single and blood lipid ratio of triglyceride / high density lipoprotein cholesterol(TG/H)levels,to study its relationship with the occurrence and development of colorectal polyps and canceration, provide the basis for the prevention and early diagnosis of colorectal cancer. Methods:The retrospective analysis was conducted the data of patients underwent colonoscopy and/or colonoscopic polypectomy in Department of Gastroenterology and/or gastrointestinal surgery in Guangdong No.2 People's Hospital from January 2015 to January 2016,and retrospective analysis.A total of 619 patients were collected,in which colonoscopy was found to be a polyp group(n=301)and polyps were not found as normal control group(n=318).Statistical software SPSS was used to analyze differences of blood lipid and blood lipid ratio between groups,And further studied the relationship of blood lipid level and lipid ratio in patients with polyps between patients age, sex, and incidence of hyperlipidemia, and the size, number, basement, shape, location and morphology of polyps. Results:First of all,the age difference between the groups, patients with polyp group than the control group;the detection rate of polyps, males are larger than females;the incidence of hyperlipidemia, polyp group was higher than control group;polyp group triglyceride / high density lipoprotein cholesterol(TG/H),triglyceride(TG)levels were higher than control group, and high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)level is lower than the control group, all of the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).Then,comparison of polyps group,we found that the incidence of hyperlipidemia(especially hypertriglyceridemia)in the adenomatous polyp group was higher than that in the non adenomatous polyp group;compare polyp lesion in patients with TG/H and TG,showed that the polyps were located in the left colon and rectum was significantly higher than that of the right colon;the differences were statistically the significance(P < 0.05);and triglyceride(TG)levels and blood lipid ratio(TG/H)showed no significant difference in the number and size of polyps and morphology(P > 0.05).Finally,the multi-factor Logistic regression analysis showed that age,gender,TG,HDL-C is a risk factor for colorectal polyps? Conclusions: 1.Age,male and hyperlipidemia are risk factors of colorectal polyps.2.The ratio of serum lipid and TG/H is closely related to the risk of colorectal polyps.3.Patients with adenomatous polyps had a higher incidence of hyperlipidemia, and TG and TG/H were higher in patients with rectal and left colonic polyps.4.TG/H ratio may lead to higher canceration rate of colorectal polyps.
