Design And Implementation Of A Medical Record Management System In A Hospital

With the development of hospital informatization,medical record management system,as an important part of the Hospital Information System(HIS),can effectively resolve complicated records,fragmented data and other problems existing in paper-based medical records.The application of medical record management system is helpful to increase the efficiency of input,query and statistics of hospital medical record data,and thus can help doctors fully and accurately know the general disease progression and medical history data of patients,as well as improve the level of diagnosis and treatment in hospitals.Meanwhile,through the analysis of a large number of medical record data,patterns can be found,medical decision-making can be assisted,and the comprehensive management ability of hospitals can be enhanced.Since different hospitals have different diagnosis and treatment levels and various management needs,a build-in medical record management system of HIS,which is developed in a unified way,can hardly meet different needs of different hospitals.In order to meet the actual diagnosis,treatment and management needs of hospitals,it is necessary to design and develop a well-targeted medical record management system that can meet differentiated needs of hospitals.Based on the present situation and development trend of domestic and foreign research of hospital medical record management systems,in accordance with the Basic Specifications for Medical Record Writing,and in combination with the actual needs of a hospital,in this thesis,with JAVAEE adopted as a software development tool,Oracle XML DB technology used,and SQL SERVER 2016 applied as a system database,a well-targeted medical record management system,which has realized the centralized management of medical diagnosis,nursing records,examination data,image data,and all other kinds of data,was developed and designed.Thanks to the medical record management system,the realization of user management,data entry,electronic medical records management,data-aided decision-making,system management and other functions will help to achieve convenient processing and achieving of medical record data,to realize verification,checking and quality control of medical record data,to increase the efficiency of entry,query and statistics of medical record data,and to improve diagnosis and treatment levels and management ability of the hospital.
