Study On Drug Safety Supervision In L City

Drugs play an important role in maintaining human health and safety,so the safety of medicines is a major concern.As an important agency in charge of supervising drug safety,the food and drug administrations at all levels have the public’s high attention and expectation.The food and drug administrations of L city have undergone many institutional changes,and their functions and responsibilities have been continuously reinforced,in order to strengthen supervision and guarantee the medication safety in L city.According to the theories of government supervision and information asymmetry,and based on the research about the current drug supervision in L city,this paper analyzes the existing problems and finds out the root causes.By applying multiple methods of literature research,case study research,as well as drawing on the experience of developed region at home and abroad,this paper also comes up with some suggestions for improving the supervision of drug safety in L city.The first part introduces the background,significance and purpose of the study on the drug safety supervision in L city,gives an overview of the current worldwide researches on the drug safety supervision,defines the concepts,including drug safety regulation,and explains theoretical tools,such as government supervision and information asymmetry,and puts forward the research subject and methods of this paper.The second part describes the current situation of drug safety supervision in L city,and analyzes the existing problems of drug supervision in L city from three links of drug production,operation and use,and finds out the root cause.The third part introduces the successful experiences of the United States,Japan and other countries,as well as the effective measures in Shanghai,Zhanjiang,and Hubei province,which can be learned and used to improve the drug safety supervision in L city.The fourth part puts forward some suggestions for improving the supervision of drug safety in L city,including improving laws and regulations,maintaining the authority of law,implementing classification management,clarifying relationship between power and responsibility,strengthening the team building,increasing supervision methods,sharing data information,establishing the credit system,encouraging public participation,and establishing polycentric governance.
