Clinical Observation Of Different Acupoint Catgut Embedding Therapy For Migraine

Objective:By observing the clinical efficacy of two different methods of treating migraine with shallow burying and conventional catgut embedding,a better method of acupoint catgut embedding therapy is obtained.It provides a basis for further optimization of migraine treatment.Methods:The cases mainly from outpatient and ward from the Third Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine,will meet the criteria of migraine without aura were divided into shallow needling embedding group(30cases)and conventional embedding therapy group(30cases).Shallow needling embedding group major acupoints for brain penetration of Fengchi,naohu ventilated house.A total of 5 Iines.The methods of operation were as follows:(1)the patient took the prone position and exposed the occipital scalp.After the disinfection of acupoints with Iodophor,the 2cm long protein line was put into the catgut embedding needle with a disposable sterile tweezers.The left hand to knead the skin around the brain hole,right hand holding and maintain scalp catgut embedding needle 15 degrees quickly penetrate the skin to Fengchi flat piercing the subgaleal layer.The needle after the protein line buried subgaleal.The needle immediately after pressing hemostasis.The brain from hole to the temporal side of 1.5cm,and the air permeability of brain Fengchi parallel operation method,the same protein buried line.When the brain toana needle,flat thorn wind house points.The same method of operation is buried in the protein line.The conventional embedding group:A line perpendicular to the acupoint of Fengchi,and a line between C3 and C4,and We choose the focus of the above two lines.Also,We choose both sides of Fengchi.A total of 4 lines.The methods of operation were as follows:(1)the patient took the seat and exposed the skin of the neck.After the disinfection of acupoints with Iodophor,the 2cm long protein line was put into the catgut embedding needle with a disposable sterile tweezers.The left hand fixed Fengchi skin around his right hand holding a catgut embedding needle and the skin is maintained at 75 degrees toward the direction of mandibular,fast needle,deep to 2 cervical transverse or 3cm.Pull out the needle and press the cotton ball to stop the bleeding.2 lines from the midline and Fengchi do parallel to the intersection with the horizontal line C3,C4 between the 2 points,methods of operation.The two groups were all buried 1 times every 15 days,3 times per course of catgut embedding,for a total of 45 days.The follow-up was performed 4 months after the end of the treatment.Migraine VAS score,frequency of onset,duration of pain and accompanying symptoms in two groups before and after treatment were observed,and the curative effect was evaluated by comprehensive score.SPSS 24 software was used for processing and analysis.Results:Comparison between groups:two groups 4 months after treatment,VAS score,compared with conventional catgut embedding group,the pain score of migraine group was lower than that of shallow puncture catgut embedding group,P=0.040,had significan t difference(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups.P=0.98(P>0.05),at 4 months after the catgut embedding therapy.After 4 months of treatment,the duration of pain was compared,and there was no significant difference,P=0.549,(P>0.05).After 4 months of treatment,the comprehensive score was compared,and there was no significant difference,P=0.174(P>0.05).After 4 months of treatment,the two groups were evaluated,P=0.506,and the total effective rate of the two groups did not have significant difference(P>0.05).Group comparison:the end of fourth months after treatment compared with before treatment,the shallow needling catgut embedding group and conventional embedding group in the VAS score,migraine headache frequency,durati on of headache and migraine score aspects were improved,and it had significant differ ence(P<0.01).Conclusion:Preventive treatment of migraine,shallow burying and conventional catgut embedding may be effective.The conventional catgut embedding group improved the VAS score of migraine better than the shallow burying catgut embedding group.There was no significant difference in the frequency of migraine attack,the improvement of migraine duration and the total effective rate between the two groups.
