| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture for the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis and acupuncture to explore whether the use of electroacupuncture in the acute phase can improve the clinical efficacy and shorten the treatment time, and provide a safe, effective and more optimized treatment plan for the clinic. Methods: This study collected 64 patients in the Department of Acupuncture from the Chinese Traditional Medicine Hospital of Hubei Province from March 2017 to September 2017.All of the 64 patients were eligible for this study.Four patients were lost in the middle, and 60 patients were finally treated according to the order of visits.Divided into electroacupuncture treatment group and acupuncture treatment group, each with 30 cases. There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender, age, disease duration, and clinical symptom scores(P>0.05).The two groups were comparable. The efficacy of HB(House-Brackmann)grading before and after treatment was compared between the two groups of patients(major evaluation method),scores of symptomatic and physical signs were compared(secondary evaluation method),and the number of times the patient was cured was recorded and statistical methods were used.Conduct comparative analysis.Results:(1)The results of H-B facial nerve function recovery e valuation system suggest that: Effectiveness: 30 patients i n Electro-acupuncture treatment group, cured 23 cases, acco unting for 76.7%,markedly effective in 6 cases, accounting for 20.00%,improved in 1 case, accounting for 3.3%,inval id In 0 cases, the dominance rate was 96.7%,and the total effective rate was 100%;in the acupuncture group,30 patie nts recovered 19 cases, accounting for 63.3%,markedly impr oved in 4 cases,13.3%,improved in 5 cases in 16.7%,and i nvalid in 2 cases, accounting for 6.6 %,the dominance rate was 76.7%,and the total effective rate was 93.3%;the dif ference between the two groups was P<0.05,and the differen ce between the two groups was statistically significant.(2)There was a significant difference(P<0.05)in the quantification of scores of symptoms and signs between the two groups of patients(P<0.05).The trend of the quantific ation of the symptoms and signs in the electroacupuncture g roup was better than that of the acupuncture group.(3)There was a significant difference in the number of treatment times between the two groups of patients(P<0.05),indicating that the number of patients treated with ele ctroacupuncture in the cured group was less than that in th e acupuncture group.(4)Patients were followed up for 3 months after treat ment.No case of facial muscle spasm or other sequelae occu rred. Conclusion: Electroacupuncture intervention in the acute ph ase of peripheral facial paralysis can improve the clinical curative effect and shorten the treatment cycle. The elect roacupuncture treatment group has excellent clinical effica cy and acupuncture therapy group. |
