| Objective This study intends to use Ginkgo Leaf Extract and Dipyridamole injection after extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy(ESWL),to investigate whether or not Ginkgo Leaf Extract and Dipyridamole injection has protective effect on early renal injury induced by extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy.And a series of relevant biochemical indicators in the patient’s blood were detected and the frequency of postoperative intermittent gross hematuria and the duration of low back pain symptoms were recorded to explore the possible mechanism of the protective effect of Ginkgo Leaf Extract and Dipyridamole injection on early renal injury induced by ESWL.Provide theoretical basis for doctors to use drugs after ESWL.Methods 60 patients with kidney stones(<2cm)hospitalized at Gongli Hospital during the period from June 2016 to January 2017 were selected and randomly divided into medication group or control group.Each group consisted of 30 patients,The patients of the medication group underwent treatment with Ginkgo Biloba twice daily(10ml ginkgo Biloba +2500ml Normal saline solution)for 5 days starting from 3 days before ESWL,while the patients in control group received 250 ml Normal saline solution.We collected both groups’ samples of 10 ml urine and 8ml blood before and immediately after ESWL,at 12 h and 24 h.we used ELISA to measured the concentration of NGAL and Cys-C in urine and the concentration of IL-6,TNF-α,MDA,SOD,ET-1 in blood,and the frequency of gross hematuria and the duration of low back pain were compared between the two groups.Results The study found that NGAL and Cys-C in the urine of the control group were significantly higher than medication group at 12 h and 24 h after ESWL,the difference was statistically significant(P(27)0.01).In the control group,serum IL-6,TNF-α,MAD,SOD were significantly higher than medication group at 12 h and 24 h after ESWL,the difference was statistically significant(P(27)0.05).The concentration of serum SOD in the medication group was higher than control group at 12 h and 24 h after ESWL,the difference was statistically significant(P(27)0.05).In the medication group,episodes of intermittent gross hematuria were less frequent on an average in this group,the difference was statistically significant(P(27)0.05).The duration of low back pain in the medication group was not statistically different from that in the control group(P(29)0.05).Conclusion Ginkgo Leaf Extract and Dipyridamole injection can effectively protect early renal injury caused by ESWL,the mechanism may be through interfering with inflammation,eliminating free radicals,enhancing the antioxidation ability and protecting renal vascular endothelial cells;Ginkgo biloba has a certain effect on complications(gross hematuria). |
