Objective: This study was to investigate the susceptibility of Bcl-2 gene polymorphism to breast cancer specimens from the Hui population in Qinghai. It lays a foundation for the formulation of specific tumor markers of breast cancer in Qinghai minority Hui ethnic Hui nationality in the future. Methods: 90 cases of fresh solid tumors of breast cancer(BC group)and 90 cases of fresh solid tumors of benign breast tumors(CON group)were collected as the subject in this study, which were from the Qinghai Hospital from January 2014 to January 2018.The two groups were matched in terms of sex, drinking and smoking habits. All benign and malignant mammary gland fresh solid tumor tissues were collected from all the subjects. The DNA were extracted from all samples, and PCR was used to amplify Bcl-2 gene fragments. The target fragment was then electrophoretic to analyze the genotype of-938C/A polymorphism in each sample of the Bcl-2 gene.SPSS 17.0 statistical software was used to analysis the results. Results: CC,CA,and AA were presented in-938C/A polymorphisms from The Bcl-2 gene, and there were 40%,52.2% and 7.8% in the CON group, and 43.3%,50% and 6.7% in the BC group, respectively. The wild-type genotype of AA was significantly lower than CC and CA genotypes, and there was no significant difference between CON and BC groups(P>0.05).After analysis, the frequencies of C and A genes were 66.1% and 33.9% in the CON group, and the frequencies of C and A genes were 68.3% and 31.7% in the BC group. After comparison between CON group and BC group, the frequencies of the C and A genes were not significantly different(P> 0.05).Conclusion: The Bcl-2 gene-938C/A polymorphism may affect the protein expression of Bcl-2,but the Bcl-2 gene polymorphism may not be related to the susceptibility of breast cancer in the Hui nationality in Qinghai Region.
