Chinese directional verbs "come/go" are extremely important in modern Chinese language, but their semantics and usage are very complicated. They can be used as predicate, and may also be placed after other verbs as complements. When being used as complements, they express directional meaning, and here,"come/go" are related or unrelated to spatial movement."Come/go" among Chinese verbs are difficult points in Korean students'learning of Chinese language, and also one of the key points in the research on teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In condition that "come/go" are used as predicate and express spatial movement, they are placed in front of location objects. In condition that "come/go" are used as complements and indicate spatial displacement, they are placed after location objects. But in Korean,"come/go" don' t have the two usages as in Chinese. This is just one of the important reasons why Korean students consider it' s difficult to grasp the "predicate +location object + come/go" structure. However, the most important reason rests with the intrinsic complicity of "come/go" in Chinese.Affected by negative transfer of mother tongue, such as word order of Korean, etc.,Korean students make many mistakes in writing. Therefore,it has theoretical significance and practical value to deeply research the mistakes in Korean students' learning of Chinese directional verbs "come/go".This thesis consists of five parts. The first chapter mainly introduces the significance of the topic selected, the research objectives and methods, and meanwhile, summarizes the achievements of predecessors'research on Chinese and Korean directional verbs "come" and "go".The second chapter uses Beijing Language and Culture University HSK dynamic composition corpus to collect example sentences about Korean learners' mistakes related to"come/go",and classifies the mistakes into four types:Wrong addition, wring substitution, omission, wrong sequence.Through analysis on the example sentences with mistakes, this chapter finds out the reasons for such mistakes, and counts the distribution of every type of mistakes. The third chapter collects the example sentences about Korean students' mistakes related to "come" and "go" by means of "Questionnaire on Learning of Directional Complements".Through analysis of mistakes, this chapter not only explains the reasons for every mistake, but also brings forward suggestions on the scheme for teaching " come "and " go" aiming at the reasons for the mistakes. The fourth chapter carries out comparative analysis on the meanings in dictionary of Chinese and Korean "come(oda)/go(gada)",and analyzes the parts having great differences and the points which are easy to induce mistakes of "come(oda)/go(gada)" in the two languages. The fifth chapter brings forward some strategies aiming at the teaching of directional verbs "come/go" based on the previous analysis, and especially,it emphasizes the importance of graphic method in the teaching of "come/go";in the epilogue part,it looks back upon and summarizes the whole paper.
