This year is the 70 anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan and the world anti-fascist war. Lingnan writer, Duai's work: Storm in the Pacific is involved in this theme of literaryworks. The topic it talked about is the Pacific War and the only overseas Anti-Japanese guerrilla team which has filled the bank in modern Chinese literature to a certain degree Therefore, to salvage Duai and his works, has a great practical significance value in the moment.Rene Wellek's narrative criticism is very important method in contemporary literary criticism analysis and This paper will be based on Duai's representative novel Storm in the Pacific, Through study of Wellek's narrative text of the analysis method integrated more from the external and internal research on two aspects of himself and the creation of roads and works itself for text analysis.Firstly, we can talk about from the outside,the writer's experience, Duai is a revolutionary writer, and has the experience that gone to Philippines, his creative trajectory with obvious color revolutions, it's also as he combine his revolutionary experience and artistic creation, formed his unique exotic writing characteristics.This kind of Exotic writing has reflected in the novel Storm in the Pacific. This paper will compare external text and writer to and other Pacific war novels as a similar comparison, longitudinal analysis of Duai, and at the same time of other southern writers in Chinese subject and differences, to highlight the Storm in the Pacific in Chinese literary creation characteristics and status. At the same time, we can examine whether the overseas detachment is a real image from the historical data, and then elaborates how Duai's novel realize the transformation from the historical image to literary text image. Finally in the text of the study, I have the classified the shape of characters, from female image?overseas Chinese hero and Philippine civilian images, in order to explore the aesthetic significance of Duai in shaping the image of the novel.
