Along with the acceleration of economic globalization, an increasing number of Chinese IT enterprises walk out of the country and draw wide attention of the world. However, due to the political, economic, and cultural differences of every nation, most of the Chinese IT companies face the challenges on cross-cultural HRM which directly influence the operating efficiency and competitive capacity of these corporations. The main purpose of this thesis is to probe into and analyze the HRM issues of Chinese MNCs, and it hopes that it is helpful to the HR managers of IT MNCs in China.Firstly, this thesis defines the concept and reviews related literatures of domestic and overseas scholars on cross-cultural HRM modes, from which choose Adler's cultural synergy as the main theory. Secondly, the paper introduces HRM concept and its subsystems and makes an overview of HRM in IT MNCs. Subsequently, through the further research the study analyzes the influences of cultural differences based on Hofstede's "cultural dimensions" that Adler also cited in her book. Thirdly, for treating the problems brought to IT MNCs by cultural differences, this thesis advocates a culturally synergistic approach to HRM. Lastly, according to five subsystems of HRM, this paper works out five proposals by applyingAdler's Cultural Synergy principle in order to help improve the level of cross-cultural HRM in IT MNCs in China as soon as possible.
