| In recent years, installation art has gained popularity in contemporary arts. Its unique artistic features have been employed by many artists and can be seen in art works of different categories. Meanwhile, installation art has brought new inspiration in the development of ceramics art. We have seen an increasing number of ceramic art works which have broken the traditional patterns of expression by using installation art.This thesis analyzes the application of installation art from an artistic presentation perspective and summarizes the features of installation art works. Using examples, this thesis analyzes some ceramic works with outstanding installation art features to discuss the combination of installation art and ceramics and its involvement in public space. This thesis provides some comprehensive theoretical and practical guidance for using installation art in ceramic works. |
