Gzi is natural agate chalcedony as raw material, is in Tibetan religious artifacts and an important part of religious relics brigandine erosion process in ancient painterly surface patterns of the beads, in the Tibetan language called "????"(Gzi).Its influence throughout the countries and regions, in time and space is also spread over a thousand years, a wide range of trade goods. In this paper, through the literature review, on-the-spot investigation and data analysis, in heritage studies based,combined with social science, anthropology and religious studies from the point of view of "beads" of systematic research. Firstly, the collection and collation of the Tianzhu specimens unearthed and handed down at home and abroad, name of beads are discussed, and pointed out that the "howling" was not a reference to beads;secondly, beads from various versions of the legend, the in the study of ancient Mesopotamia civilization and Indian Civilization Valley etched beads based of Tibetan Gzi source in ancient Persia Arab Empire; again, the beads of system of classification, to the significance of the surface ornamentation of tentative interpretation; at last, the paper discusses the Gzi brigandine erosion process and its value.
