Frequently occurred in the past two years our country colleges and universities teachers' suicides, the damage happened caused by the higher-education groups especially the college teachers psychological crisis frequently highlights the community mental health crisis.As a kind of psychological state of human relationships, the sense of alienation is the important indicators of mental health. have Researchers thought job burnout will occur on light work alienation person, the person with heavy work alienation makes themselves tired of life or even a mental breakdown. Therefore, researches on the status or the causes and effects of colleges and universities teachers' work alienation have the very big significance both for understanding of college teachers' psychological state itself, or for the long-term development of colleges and universities.Domestic current research work about the sense of work alienation is less, in addition work alienation is a situational variables affected both by subjective aspects and organizational aspects, so for work alienation research should be added more variables and constructed a more complete and comprehensive model.This study aims at Wuhan university teachers' work alienation situation and its influence factors via questionnaire,the main conclusions are as follows:(1) College teachers' average score on work alienation is 3.28, we can see that teachers in colleges and universities exist a certain degree of alienation. The highest score is normlessness dimension, Social isolation and self-estrangement dimension gets minimum score.College teachers' work alienation in the gender, educational background,professional title, working years, subject exist significantly differences.(2) College teachers' perception of organizational politics has a significant positive prediction to work alienation;Job demands has a significantly positive prediction to workalienation;Job resources has a significantly negative prediction to work alienation;working stress has a significant positive prediction to alienation.Through the advantage analysis, this study found that among the three variables,perception of organizational politics is the most influential effect that accounted for 96%of the three variables prediction variance, followed by job demands which accounted for2.5%, the minimum is working stress which accounted for only 1.5%.(3)Powerlessness and meaningless dimension has significantly negative prediction to total points of job performance and two dimensions of task performance and interpersonal facilitation and job dedication;social isolation and self-estrangement, and normlessness both have significantly positive effects on turnover intentions.(4) Mediation effect test on colleges and universities' teachers shows: the work alienation plays an intermediary role between perception of organizational politics and turnover intentions;work alienation plays an intermediary role between perception of organizational politics and the interpersonal facilitation and job dedication.
