| The biography essays are one of Chinese traditional essays.They appeared in the Han Dynasty,had a long history and took new changes in the late Ming Dynasty.In this period,with the development of special politics,economy and cultural environment,the scholars started to reflect the previous literature,thought about the real feelings in their hearts and created lots of essays fulling with their real feelings.Gongan San Yuan were the representative figures.They opposed the literary restoration school which advocated imitation.Gongan San Yuan advocated that literature needed to change with the times and learn from the externa lenvironment.San Yuan liked to choose strange people as the heros of biography and praise the good quality of the underlying people.Their biography essays had an important influence in the late Ming Dynasty.The scholars liked to imitate SanYuan.This paper chooses their biography essays as the main subject,tries to do the research through the following four areas:The introduction summarizes their biography essays of previous researches,briefly introduces the development of biography essays and their lifetime,analyzes the reason of their essays which was ignored.The scholars had a new understanding at their essays in the early 20th century.This part of the study fouces on the Gongan San Yuan influenced by the New Culture Movement in the 20th century 90s,includes their lifetime,literature,thoughts and essays.The first chapter mainly introduces the development of biography essays and new changes in the late Ming Dynasty.This chapter includes three sections:the first part is the interpretation of biography,classifies the biography and illuminates the characteristics of biography in different stages;the second part introduces that the biography essays in the late Ming Dynasty will be placed in the development of ancient biography essays,so that we can analyze the overall source and stream;the third part introduces the new changes of biography essays in the late Ming Dynasty.The second chapter mainly introduces the personality characteristics and literature thoughts of Gongan San Yuan.This will be important to study their essays and analyze the differences among their essays.This chapter regards biography essays as the research material,analyzes the reason of different characters and their literature thoughts.The third chapter is about the biography essays content.As the different heros of biography,this chapter is divided into six part:family and friends biography,officers biography,strange people biography,underlying people biography,businessmen biography and women biography. This part analyzes the differences of their essays in the heros of biography and ideological values.The fourth chapter is about their biography essays art.This part analyzes the art of their essays from the narration of characters,the narration of events and the style of language.At the end of the paper is the conclusion,it introduces the value of times with their essays and analyzes the shortcomings of their essays. |
