The Study Of Prose During The Northern Wei Pingcheng Period

This paper which mainly takes the prose during the Northern Wei Pingcheng period as the research object,including five parts.The first part introduces the Northern Wei Pingcheng period prose overall,confirms the object and scope of the research;secondly,arranging the retained prose during Pingcheng period,for example,the numbers of writers,works and scriptures.The writers are divided into three categories: local people in Central China,hexi people and the people from the south to the Northern Wei,who make a great contribution to the resumption and development of prose during the Northern Wei Dynasty Pingcheng period.What the quantities are most is imperial edicts and memorials among the retained prose.The second part mainly analysis the development path of prose during the Northern Wei Dynasty Pingcheng period,which combined with the flow of talent,the mentality of intellectuals,cultural and educational construction.Its development path mainly divided into three stages: stagnant stage,recovery stage and development stage.And the development track and localization process of every stage are closely related.The third part combines with the specific work to analyze the ideological content of the prose during the Northern Wei Dynasty Pingcheng period.Pingcheng period,which is in the early period of the state,and the political situation is not stable,coupled with years of war and other factors,as a result,most of the retained prose are related to military,diplomatic,political construction.Besides,the ideological content naturally present some features such as a vivid life atmosphere,pragmatism,the largest tribute.In some of these works,concerns for the fate of the country and people are presented.The fourth part also combines with the specific work to analyze the artistic characteristics of the prose during the Northern Wei Dynasty Pingcheng period.Because of national minority unique rustic,together with the integration of the latter part of the nation,ithe creation of the prose naturally present some features such as simple and honesty,humorous.Besides,some imperial edicts became into popularization and got closer to people's daily life,which showing peculiar minority character.There are also some good essays,the authors pay attention to parallelism that showing smooth and elegant wind.The fifth part mainly analysis the function of the prose during the Northern Wei Pingcheng period.Confucianism can be said to be the ideological and cultural foundation of the whole of the Pingcheng period.During the Pingcheng times,the political activities are the theme of people's lives,so the prose shows a strong political characteristics and practicability.
