There are vast usages of Chinese in Korean history, and it also will influence Korean culture development in the future. Since Sino-Korea had built the diplomatic relationship in 1992, both of their economic situations became more prosperous. So studying Chinese was popular again. More and more Korean people want to know about the culture of Chinese characters. But there were many problems in teaching foreigners Chinese. Since 1968, Korean President Park Chung Hee commanded to stop Chinese characters education, the resources of studying Chinese had been become less and less:elementary characters education had been stopped since 1968, and it was became an elective class in middle school. Different schools had different books. Teachers who taught Chinese had different levels on qualifications. Chinese as a second language could not get enough attention. Many students had difficulties during they study Chinese, so most of them are not interested in studying it. And this negative trend influence exists until today.This article discusses about the problems that appeared during the teaching process. Firstly, for the history part, it started Chinese characters usage situations in Korea history. Secondly, it talked about Chinese characters current educated situations and policies. On the basis of this, this articles studies Chinese characters educated problems in Korea. It analyses from teachers, textbooks and students these three 3 aspects. Finally, according to these problems and the students study situations, the article proposes the reformed policies, and a set of teaching ways in order to arise their Chinese studying interests.
