The Study Of Zong Baihua Though Of “Art Philosophy”

Zong Baihua,a famous poet,philosopher and aesthetician in China.In the era of salvation and enlightenment,he put forward the thinking of "art and life " dealing with the relationship between life and art.However,some contemporary scholars with Zong summarized Zong’s idea as the thinking of “art-oriented life”,and some scholars in modern time also summarized Zong’s thinking into “art-oriented life”.In this sense,as we can see Zong himself did not put forward the statement directly.Thus,the paper tries to retrospect to Zong’s original thinking,focusing on his thought about art and life,trying to differentiate and analyse the propositions of “art-oriented life” and “life philosophy”.Zong’s thinking of "art and life" is reflected not only in his state of mind,works,poetics and theory of calligraphy,but also in some of his theoretical articles.As a result,we are going to sort out Zong’s thinking through these aspects so as to interpret Zong’s idea integrally.As we can see,on the one hand be the same as the contemporary scholars,Zong advocates to observe life from the point of art so as to embellish and enhance life through art.And by combining art and life,life will be colorful and harmonious just like art itself.So the bases of Zong’s thinking are striving,creativity,compassion,generosity and detachment.But on the other hand be different with other scholars,Zong’s thinking does not just focus on “art-oriented life” that is embellishing life through art,but to create life as a work of art with an ideality of tangibility which embodies many important and practical significances.In modern time,art influences life in new ways and people’s understanding about art and life also has changed.In this sense,we will see Zong’s view of “art and life”contain a great number of perspectiveness and significances...
