The predecessor of the title of the "God's wife of Amun" was the "God's wife". As it is commonly known, the first time when the title "God's wife" with Amun is documented in the "Donation Stela" of Ahmose-Nofretari during the New Kingdom. Its Egyptian writing is (?)mt n(?)r n imn, and it existed from the New Kingdom, the Third Intermediate Period to Later Period, then disappeared after the Persians had conquered Egypt. The title was hold by the queen during the New Kingdom, but it was taken over by the daughter of the king during the Third Intermediate Period and Later Period, and the daughter was a virgin or unmarried.This paper relies on two well known texts, the "Donation Stela" of Ahmose-Nofretari and the "Adoption Stela of Nitocris", to discuss the donation of the title of "God's wife of Amun" by the king and the estate which was hold by "God's wife of Amun", further more,the historical situation of its diappearance during the Persian Period.
