"Fujian Civil Documents and Xiamen Collection Contract have registered many civil contract documents which are precious remaining civil documents from everywhere in Fujian province. As the research materials, the noun quantifiers were collected, classified and made textual criticisms and explanations in this paper, and the distribution of the quantifiers used similarly were also analyzed comparatively in this paper.There are four chapters in this paper. The first chapter mainly introduced two books named Fujian Civil Documents and Xiamen Collection Contract and recommended the general situation of the quantifiers appeared in these two books. The second chapter studied the metrological measure words in Fujian Civil Documents, which includes the length unit quantifiers, such as zhang, chi, yingchi; the area unit common quantifiers, such as mu, zhang, fen, li, hao, si, hu and vernacular quantifier, such as fangs, jing, ping; the volume unit quantifiers, such as dan, dou, sheng, dui, shao, chao, cuo, gui, su, li; the common containment unit quantifiers, such as luo, dou and vernacular quantifier, such as guan, tong, lan, lao; the common weight unit quantifiers, such as jin and vernacular quantifiers, such as cheng, guan; the common monetary unit quantifiers, such as liang, qian. Fen, li, hao, yuan, jiao, wen and Fujian civil vernacular quantifiers, such as zhan, jian. The third part studied the individual quantifier which includes the quantifiers of measuring farmland, such as chu, duan, qiu, hao; the quantifiers of measuring graveyard, such as xue, dao, dun, li, gang;the quantifiers of measuring mountain,field and base, such as pian, kuai, za, ping, gou, xia, xiang, lun, ling; the individual quantifiers of measuring tenement, such as suo, zuo, luo jian, lian, bing, zhi, dong, liu, zao, chen, lie, ceng; the quantifiers of measuring building blocks, such as kong, tou, du, wei, yan, qu, dai; the individual quantifiers of measuring contract documents, such as zhang, zhi, dan, zong, bao; the individual quantifiers of measuring dendrimer, such as zhu, yan, zhi and other individual quantifiers, such as gu, fen, xiang, wei, ge, jia, kou, tou, miao, tiao, zhong, ze, zhi, ba, chaung. Among them, dao, dun, za, xia, ling, tou, liu, zao, xian, bing, zhi, wei, miao, ze, dan, zhi, zong are vernacular quantifiers in Fujian civil documents. The forth part studied the collective quantifiers of measuring inhabitants and tress. The quantifiers of measuring inhabitants are fang, hu, jia; the quantifiers of measuring trees are zha, cong; the quantifiers of measuring horizontal inscribed boards are dui. Fang, hu, jia, dui are the common quantifiers while zha, cong are Fujian civil vernacular quantifiers.The conclusion mainly summarized the full text and illustrated the innovations and the deficiencies of this paper. In the documents, some quantifiers were only used in Fujian ares, such as guan, lao and some quantifiers can not be found in modern Chinese language. So, the research of the quantifiers in these two books has significance on the study of the differences of vocabularies using among the different places in Fujian in history.
