With the economic globalization and frequent business trades among different countries, there are great demands for English talents. Therefore, an increasing number of universities in our country have set various English classes to cultivate senior English talents. As we all know, the oral English is a basic skill of English learning and it plays an important role in English study. Besides, during the process of interview, some employers regard employee's spoken English proficiency as the basic condition of recruitment. If the employee has a good performance of spoken English, it will not only strengthens the competitiveness of his or her employment, but also contributes to their work in the future. Therefore, the spoken English proficiency is very significant for students of English major.The author mainly investigates students from Foreign Language Institute of Inner Mongolia normal university. In this college, there is English education major which aims to cultivating English talents and English teachers of primary and secondary school of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. At present, students in this college mainly come from the northwest or the northeast part of Inner Mongolia. Influenced by traditional teaching methods and educational system, teachers in these underdeveloped areas pay much attention to impart conventional knowledge of English but ignoring the practice of using it. Besides, during this process, they put much emphasize on students'reading and writing, causing some ignorance of listening and speaking, especially the speaking skill. However, Students who come from these areas have few opportunities to practice their oral English or communicate with native speakers. And gradually, their speaking ability is quite weak.Besides, for college students, the period of college life is the important time of psychological maturity, and it is quite unstable during this period. Thus, anxiety always appears among students in this period and lots of students suffer from it. In fact, there are lots of factors which may influence on students' anxiety level.Therefore, the teachers of these students are supposed to pay great attention to their anxiety, because it directly affects the student's learning and behavior in their college life.On the other hand, the communicative English class is a compulsory course and mainly focuses on systematical and communicative learning materials. The oral topics in this class are very close to the students'real life. Therefore, there are lots of mutual interactions between teachers and students in this class. And students should have strong initiative, enthusiasm and desire to speak out in class. However, because of students'weak basic ability of listening and speaking, they will be nervous or anxious when expressing themselves. What's worse, in such a new environment, even the students who have strong language expression ability will also have a sense of tension and anxiety. In turn, it will also influence students'fluency, accuracy and complexity of oral English output.In this study, the author applied anxiety self-assessment scale and some interviews to do the research. At the same time, she used the Digital Video to collect the oral corpus of students and then analyzing them. Finally, the author also analyzed the relationship between anxiety and oral output quality. The results show that:(1)In communicative English class,there are 70% students has a mild anxiety state, and 30% students has a moderate anxiety state.(2) In the communicative English class, there are several reasons that related to students'anxiety. The new type of course, the teachers'answer evaluation, lack of confidence and unfamiliar and complex oral English topics will cause students'anxiety. When students don't know how to express themselves in English, when teachers ask students to answer questions, when students are afraid of making grammar mistakes or mocked by others, they will also have a sense of anxiety. In the end, the majority of students feel that these reasons mainly come from themselves.(3) In the communicative English class, students'accuracy of oral English output is in the medium level, but the difference is obvious; At the same time, students' awareness of using complex sentences is relatively low, and some students even do not use any complex sentences in their oral English. besides, the difference of fluency is quite obvious.(4)Finally, there is no correlation between the students' anxiety and the accuracy, fluency and complexity of oral English output in communicative English class.
