The Problems Faced By Malagasy Students In Malagasy-Chinese Interpretations And Countermeasures

The most important part of interpretation is listening and speaking, the students who didn't receive an interpretation teaching in Madagascar often encountered many problems in Malagasy-Chinese interpretation. The author toke Malagasy graduated students as the object of investigation, and did an analysis about the problems and difficulties faced by Malagasy students in the Malagasy-Chinese interpretation. Through the investigation, it was found that the difficulty of interpreting is mainly manifested in the aspects of language, vocabulary, grammar, rhetoric, cultural differences and inaccurate interpretation.Then, through using the method of questionnaire survey, we can find the problems existed of Malagasy students in the Malagasy-Chinese interpretation in terms of language, vocabulary, grammar, rhetoric, cultural differences. The analysis found out affecting the quality of interpretation is not only its factors but also the interpreter oneself problems. To do a good job in interpreting, we must first have a good language skills and also a good culture comprehension. In practice, the interpreter can use full preparation before translation, remember notes, psychological control. Finally, in view of these interpretations difficulties,the interpreter need to accumulate vocabulary, to cultivate a good habit of listening and cultural understanding in the following several aspects:to overcome the difficulties encountered in the process of interpretation.
