Research On The Art Of Weifang Kite

In the profound Chinese traditional culture,the art of kite is like a shining pearl.From the Warring States period to now,the kite has more than two thousand years of development.Today,the art of kite including practicality and artistry,by virtue of its unique creation ideology and aesthetic value,it has became one of most representative traditional art.The Weifang kite as this dissertation`s research object,based on the research of history and folklore,from art perspective,to explore the unique language of its design and decoration,and excavate its intrinsic artistic value and cultural connotation.Through the comprehensive use of various research methods of literature research,field investigation,image analysis and field investigation,we will start from three aspects to the art of Weifang kite:(1)The body level,from three aspects of shape,decoration,color to explore Weifang kite unique aesthetic concept and design ideas;(2)The cultural level,thoroughly explores the historical symbol and cultural connotation in the kite culture,to clear Weifang kite unique implications;(3)The concept level,summarizes the design concept,which reflects the Weifang kite art design thought and the creation of wisdom,and deeply analysis and rational thinking of the modern design reference to value and significance.The first chapter,introduction,analyzing the research significance and value of Weifang kites,introduces the research ideas,research methods and so on.The second chapter and the third,mainly clarify the history of kites and its culture,summed up the development of Weifang kite geography,environment,social and cultural background.The chapter four and five,stated its skeleton,shape,pattern and color performance,based on those,explained the Weifang kite art of decoration language and visual art characteristics and cultural connotation.The sixth chapter discusses the development path of modern art of Weifang kites and its elements`s value reference to the modern design.To sum up,on the basis of previous research.From fine arts point of view,to explore the unique language of the art of Weifang kites in the shape and decoration design,to discover the intrinsic artistic value and cultural significance,not only for the art of Weifang kites and the positive significance of its culture inheritance and the development,but also for the important reference to theory and the practice of the modern design.
