The present study discussed sharing in children with high-functioning autism(HFA) through both qualitative and quantitative methodsThe qualitative research conducts semi-structured interviews with 13 HFA children's teachers or parents. The data was analysized through QSR Nvivo10.0 based on the grounded theory. Results were found: 1)HFA chidlren generally behaved passively when sharing; 2) HFA children mostly engaged in the parallel play passively and practice games actively in game sharing; 3)HFA children could recognize basic emotion states, part of them could speculated the emotion cues of others, but had difficulties in explaining or representing more complex emotion. The quantitative research investigated reciprocal sharing in between 13 HFA compared and typically developing children aged at 3-7 in three different context(generosity, divide and stingy). The results showed that: 1) There was no reciprocity in HFA children; 2) There were no significant differences in the numbers of sharing between two groups. Interestingly, the responsive time (time from the researcher's order to starting sharing) of HFA children was significantly longer than the control group; 3) there were no significant differences of response time of HFA children in three situations, the significances were showed in TD children.
