Frustrated In The Change Of Time—The Inspect Of Workers And Youth In Lunei's Novels

Lunei is an important one of Chinese 1970 s writers. From the debut Juvenile Babylon to his recent Mercy, the creation of Lunei is within the increasingly mature, his characters and stories with the current individual's life experience has become even more fit. As a man born in 1973, Lunei has been a worker, a salesman, advertiser etc, which makes him witnessed the alternation of era and the development of city in Chinese modernized process from 1980 s to 1990 s. In Lunei's works, the characters generally give an reflection which combine losing and frustrated state when they faced the time's change, ether workers or youth.This thesis will commence in the investigation of the workers and youth in Lunei's novels, put the works back in the transform of economic system and educational system. By the way of interpreting the characters' fate, story development, to understand the value of Luneis' whole works.This article is composed of three parts. Part one will put eyes on analyzing the life condition and spiritual world of 1980 s to 1990s' Chinese workers. Part two will spread out what the confusion and struggle within the youth growing is in a new time.On the basis of part one and part two, the third chapter is going to discuss how does Lunei understand China in the end of 20 century.
