Youth Expressions And Cultural Emotions In Chinese Youth Films (2006-2015)

Film is one of the most popular forms of mass media.Screen image and narrative participation as well as representation play an important role in the changes of social and culture.The youth image on the screen not only represents the youth cultural landscape outside the screen,but also participates in the reconstruction of the youth discourse even the whole society.In the past ten years,the development of Chinese movie is rapidly and amazing.One of the most important force is the rise and development of domestic youth film,which occupied the domestic movie box office,including little comedy,chick flick and nostalgia of youth.Among them,the expression of youth is different from that of any previous period.When we explore the cultural emotions hidden behind these expressions,we have to ask how young people equate with the little ones? How do young women have been influenced by the film and how will they reflect the influence in the creation of the film? What kind of role does feminism play in it,and why is it magnified? Youth after 80 s are the main force of the contemporary,why the anxiety of this generation all reflected in nostalgia and cannot extricate themselves?In fact,in the history of Chinese film,there is no lack of youth screen image and youth narrative,but the critical discourse from the perspective of youth culture.Thus,the purpose of this paper is trying to interpret the domestic youth films nearly a decade on youth culture perspective.Exploring the cultural expression and the hidden cultural mood in youth film is helpful for the contemporary youth to clarify the position and relationship between individual self and the society of the times;meanwhile,it also provides a valuable reference for the youth film to balance between art and business.
