Research On Application Of Visual Effects In Micro Films

Against the background of rapid updating of computer technology and online communication platform, micro film develops rapidly, facing the feature of micro film with less but extractive content. How to enrich story creativity and improve ornamental value of frames under the condition of micro production and micro investment is a problem in micro film development worth of discussion. As an important way of increasing frame attraction, visual effect is widely used in film with eye-catching achievement. However, long production cycle and large amount of fund investment will become a bottleneck in micro film, then, how to apply visual effect combining features of micro film's own becomes a research direction of this paper.This paper adopts such approaches as theoretical research and work analysis, etc. to investigate application of visual effect in micro film. First, it divides micro films into spontaneous original type and professional custom made type based on different creation purpose, analyzes and summarizes story content, creation subject and frame features of both types. Second, based on overall understanding of main visual effect technology, it concludes the visual effect technology with shorter production cycle, easier operation and lower requirements for computer in terms of same result of special effect. Finally, it analyzes and concludes the role played by visual effect in enriching creating means of micro film and increasing curiosity of frame. Meanwhile, it more deeply dialectically reflects on the selection of visual effect key technology and significance of improving ornamental value.By researching application of visual effect in micro film, this paper holds that some visual effect technologies operated more simply shall be selectively chosen based on "three micro" feature of micro film, combining its story content, creation subject and frame feature, and balancing costs and time efficiency. Through research of this topic, it is in the hope to provide some theoretical guide and technical experience for micro film creators.
