Research On The Types Of Chinese Micro Film

This thesis attempts to analyze micro film’s definition, popular origin, historical evolution, current situation and its aesthetic characteristics by cross-section study. Based on the detailed and in-depth investigation, the complex of micro film genre can be divided into several smaller type groups: documentary films, feature films, experimental films and advertising films. With survey on these micro film genre, the author indicates to make a more accurate perception of the burgeoning media form, to lay theoretical foundation for future direction of the development of micro film genre, and to enhance the consciousness of the micro film artistic creation and aesthetic types.
