Compapative Study On The State Adjectives Of Zhuang And Thai

Zhuang and Thai are related language. In recent years, there are a lot of the comparison of the Zhuang and Thai.Zhuang in Jingxi and Thai in Thailand has great similarities in terms of language and culture. This paper choose Jingxi Yang language which is southern zhuang dialect, as the representative of Zhuang language, using comparative analysis approach and grammar research theory of three planes to make a more detailed comparison of zhuang and Thai state adjectives, find the similarities and differences.The adjectives in the Zhuang and Thai have different status, and state adjective of the two languages no unified definition, In this paper, we first define and screen the state adjectives of the two languages with the unified standard. And than, to compare state adjectives of the two lauguages from four aspects. The first,compare and contrast the classification and form; the second, discuss each of these forms of syntactic function and the common combination function; the last,compare the pragmatic functions. Through the contrast research, preliminary summarized the similarities and differences between zhuang Thai state adjectives.
