| Vocabulary teaching to foreigners plays a decisive role in teaching. The number of words that a student can master largely reflects his Chinese proficiency. Over the years, the methods of vocabulary teaching to foreigners have changed a lot, but always followed the method of teaching used in Indo-European language.Due to this,there is not much breakthrough and teaching effectiveness has not improved significantly.This thesis follows Prof. Xu Tongqiang’s "Zi-based" grammatical theory, which fully respects the characteristics of the Chinese language.This theory regards "Zi" as the basic structural unit of the Chinese language, and the grammatical structure unit of modern Chinese can be defined as "Zi-Zi group-sentence".Zi group is equal to word and phrase in the traditional grammar system.Our main target is teaching the two-word Zi group, but three-word Zi group is also involved. Depending on the position of the core word, we will divide Zi group into three categories which are centripetal Zi group,centrifugal Zi group and the same Zi group.At the same time, we adapt all core Zi groups in the Experiencing Chinese(Junior Edition) Volume I and Volume II to the three types of teaching as a reference.In order for teachers to better use "Zi based" teaching method during the teaching process, we analyzed the rationality of using this kind of theory into teaching, and described the teaching method according to the Experiencing Chinese(Junior Edition). Meanwhile, the specific lesson plan was also shown according to this teaching method.The Zi group is the object of our teaching, and the unity of form and meaning. Therefore, we use the word set of the correct rate of this index, from the form(the type of dimension) and meaning(semantic transparency dimension) as the two aspects of statistical and analysis. In a word group type, we found that the best teaching effect of the same Zi groups, improved the correct rate of 30%, followed by the centripetal Zi groups, the correct rate increased by 15%, the worst is the centrifugal Zi groups, the correct rate increased by 2%. In terms of semantic transparency, words semantically semitransparent effects of teaching were best, the correct rate increased by 5%, completely transparent semantic word group teaching effect secondly, improved the correct rate of 4%, the worst is semantically opaque words group, correct rate was reduced by 2%.Finally, we have made a reflection on the teaching design of the Zi group, summed up the advantages and disadvantages, and made a simple idea of its future development. The teaching design guided by the "Zi-based" theory is conducive to the accumulation of students and the understanding of the Zi group. But the teaching effect of this method for centrifugal Zi groups and semantic opaque Zi groups, at the same time, the students adapt to this teaching method requires a certain amount of time. The "Zi-based" theory of the future development should fully respect the structure of Chinese language itself, but also should absorb the essence of other theories.We should comprehensively use various teaching methods to help Zi group teaching. |
