The characters record the human language. It is the most important auxiliary tools for human communication. Whether the written words are correct or not, it has a very important position in the process of language learning. Chinese character teaching is the basis of continue to teach other knowledge in teaching Chinese as a second language and it also has a lot of problems to be solved. There are great differences in the language, nationality, religion, culture and so on between Central Asia and East Asia. Foreign students from these two regions have their own characteristics in Chinese characters writing errors when they learned Chinese, which contains the research value. So it is essential to make a systematic and comprehensive analysis of the Chinese characters writing errors from Central Asia and East Asia students, in order to provide some reference and basis to Chinese characters teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The paper is divided into three part. The section one is the introduction. The author first introduces the reasons for choosing this topic. Secondly, the author mainly reviews the research status of Chinese characters writing errors and the Chinese characters teaching, the purpose and significance of this study. Then the author also sets forth the Error Analysis and Interlanguage theory she used for reference when writing the paper. Finally introduces the corpus' s source, the research methods, the definition and the classification of the Chinese characters writing errors. The section two is the demonstration of the Chinese characters writing errors and causes analysis.It is the main part of the paper. The author sorts out the Chinese characters writing errors from Central Asia and East Asia students corpora and make a detailed description. Dividing all errors into misused characters errors and wrong characters errors, and then subdivided into small groups to perform a detailed analysis. Summing up the rules and characteristics from the Chinese characters writing errors of the two regions' students and making a comparative analysis of the differences in the Chinese characters writing errors between the two regions' students. And then analyzes the causes of the Chinese characters writing errors. In the light of these errors and their causes found in our analysis, the author attempt to put forward some suggestions for teaching in section three, in order to provide some reference to Chinese charactersteaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
