The Analysis Of Etymology,Hierarchy And Regional Culture About Fujian,Zhejiang And Jiangxi Provinces' Geographical General Term

This thesis selects Fujian,Zhejiang and Jiangxi provinces' geographical general term,analysis these from language and culture,otherwise,discusses the etymology,hierarchy,regional culture of the generic term.The thesis is divided into four parts: the first part is an introduction,which includes history and current status of the topic,the basis and methods,issues related to the geographical names,in order to clear the foundation of writing;the second part is statistics that selected from the three provinces' generic terms by excel and other methods,as far as possible to exclude accidental phenomenon,through various types of clear terms of the regional distribution and frequency of use,while providing data for the next parts;the third part analysisetymology and hierarchy,through frequency and characteristics of the genetic terms,combing the usage among historical documents and local chronicles,to explore its etymology;the fourth part is the analysis of regional culture,which has a brief introduction about geographical characteristicsand cultural characteristics.In terms ofabove analysis,we found Dong,Wei etc derived the National Languages,Cheng,Chang,Qiao,Jiaetc derived ancient words,Yang,Dang,Dai,Cuoetc derived dialect words and in which the dialect words retain more.At the same time,the same meaning in different terms through history and space often have different writing,such as Dang,Au.Moreover,immigration,food,houses,religious,military,commercial and other regional cultural characteristics in part of the name is also reflects through the terms.In a word,the stability characteristics of geographical terms well preserved some of the characteristics of the language,we can provide more ideas for language and cultural studiesthrough the discussion of these terms.
