Wenzhou is located in the southeast coast of Zhejiang province,which is in the middle of China's gold coast.Its climate is humid,and the average temperature is 18 ?.Therefor,it has the superior geographical environment and is a cornucopia containing rich marine resources.The local people use marine resources advantage to adapt to the natural environment and social environment and gain the satisfaction of material life and comfort of the spiritual life,forming a unique diet custom.This paper takes the seafood diet custom in Wenzhou as the research object,through using the theory of folklore,humanity history,sociology and so on.It takes the local historical documents,all kinds of folk oral information,and fieldwork combing research m*ethod.On the one hand,to make people aware of Wenzhou seafood eating custom's inherent law of generation,evolution,and development.On the other hand,to spread and develop Wenzhou diet custom.The content is analyzing and summarizing the characteristics of marine resources in Wenzhou based on its unique geographical environment.Mainly analyzing and summarizing the making characters and eating method of seafood in the folk.Through the analysis of the kinds of method,it spies the unique food culture in Wenzhou,also exposes the hidden cultural connotation.Besides,through the analysis of Wenzhou people's specific life situation to analyze people's coastal feeding mode,and realize Wenzhou people's timing concept of “dare to be the first”.Finally,we could understand the folk etiquette custom in Wenzhou based on the culture order of seafood diet custom,and apply it to the development of sea food diet culture appropriately,making the seafood diet culture inherit and develop well.
