Ding Ling as a public figure, ha ve a certain reputat ion in the literary world, political circles and the media sector. Her image is shaped by the audience, media and cultural studies and other comm unicators constantly. Accustomed to the idea, Ding Ling often appears as "writer", "social activist" and other im age, but few people thinking this i mage of the causes and basis. Based on this starting point, we co llected the media information reported on Ding Ling from 1927 to 1949, and thought that public dissemination of the characters in the media, and to analyze the formation of this image(the framework of media coverage) and cause.This paper argues that the image of the media in the construction of Ding Ling, provides such a cognitive frame work: Ding Ling appear ed early as a talented w oman with a creative genius of the image, in writing, feelings and dare to explore life and the pursuit of self; Ding Ling is imprisoned in Nanjing period,and appeared as "m issing left-wing women writers,", the media in order to attract audiences, digging a lot of news in the past Ding Ling; during the war, Ding Ling places leadership "Northwest AFS leaders" and "wom en's activities who " image appears, at this tim e Ding Ling has occu rred by the " self " to " social " change; in the liberation period, Ding Ling in the m edia became a " fe male Communist giant, " and " Red intellectuals " image.From 1927 to 1949, the media in the construction of the image of the road in Ding Ling, has been reported in many influenc e factors, which are two of the most critical constraint is implicit ideological framework of ideas and cultural factors. Therefore, we believe that in the process of cognitive Ding Ling media images, in addition to grasp the im age of the specific performance, but also analyzes the image of the construction process and the reasons.
