With the invasion of the Western imperialism and the collapse of the old feudal system, early Republic of China (1912-1937) has experienced tremendous changes from politics, economy to culture. The early of the Republic of China is the important period of political and economic development of modern society in our country, China's industrial production has also undergone a historic turning point during this period, which is the golden time of modern national economic development.As one of the representative species of national chemical enterprises in the early Republic of China, domestic cosmetics industry rose and developed rapidly. The visual image of the design of domestic cosmetics has presented a brilliant and unique scenery line due to the its unique characteristics and cultural connotation; While under the influence of foreign cosmetics brands, domestic cosmetics brands have gradually developed and improved in the early Republic of China. Using the image study method,This paper targets visual image design of early of the Republic of China domestic cosmetics brands,, and carries on the induction and consolidation on the basis of literature and cases analysis. Respectively from the brand visual image design of brand naming, trademark design, brand identity system, packaging design and communications media,this paper analyzes the main characteristics of the domestic cosmetics in early of the Republic of China, the brand visual image design contains text, graphics, color, composition, and many other design elements, so that it fully reflects the characteristics and trend of design culture and social and cultural characteristics under surface features, Which has a certain auxiliary function and long-term significance for us to study politics, economy and culture in the early of the Republic of China.The early of the Republic of China is a golden period in the development history of China's domestic cosmetics brands, by playing a role of milestone in the history of China's domestic cosmetics brands. Fully taking the consumers' consumption psychology and aesthetic tastes into consideration, while learning and refering to western design ideas at the same time, the brand visual image design of the domestic cosmetics, seized the people's patriotic psychology of this special period,combined Western design method and traditional Chinese culture,has making consumers a strong national sense of belonging when they are receiving foreign emerging culture at the same time. Domestic cosmetics brand design can't abandon being nourished and relying on the traditional culture of our country in any period.In the rapid development of brand economy today, the brand visual image design needs more Combining sites by continuously exploring for traditional visual design elements and modern design. This article is about domestic cosmetic brand visual image design the early of the Republic of China,it does an own meager power to the organization and research for art design of domestic cosmetics brand visual image design in that specific period.at the same time may also provide the brand visual image design some thinking and inspiration.
