Flexible logo design is a new brand communication design method that represents unique implications and values in different information topics and different application environments.First and foremost,In urban city brand design,Flexible logo design system has benefit to express its visual implications in effective way.Among the brand image systems of Korea's tourism city,Andong,this thesis utilize Andong's logo design as a case study.Based on a field study,survey and various qualitative techniques were used to analyze the type of expression of the logo and through developing more effective design to express its folk and historical culture of Andong City,reinforce its visual implicative meanings.In this process,by utilizing Flexible logo design method's visual expression potentiality completed four different set of Flexible logo designs,try to strengthen visual ties between the Andong City Tourism City brand and the public simultaneously.The design process in this thesis provides the potential for Flexible logo design to operate reasonably in different brands.
