The history of Chinese films has been experienced more than 100 years, and co-production films between China and foreign countries have also been developed in almost 70 years. The industry of Chinese film is growing rapidly after developing in several times. It occurs opportunities and problems simultaneously in this developing phase. Recently, Chinese film, that contains a variety of types, are innovated in many aspects and are noticed in film festival, film trade show and film forum. Co-production is the one of types that draw great attention.Co-production film, as a special hybrid identity, have occupied a part of market in China from 20 centuries, but also afforded a huge responsibility to international communication. In global movie market, they possess a characteristic of cross-culture communication, and have a potential foundation market, so that they become an important cooperation form between different countries, and the culture integration deserve a close attention of film industry. Nowadays, it accumulates a few experience to deal with the “integration” problem through the developing from germination to growth. However, it is necessary to keep up exploring and studying in order to get access to the culture integration phase.In this essay, through case study and literature study methods, it also applies text analysis which is one of the communication research methods, and makes use of innovations in three different ways including the perspective of analysis, the methods of analysis and internal analysis to observe and explain the deep comprehension of co-production film between China and foreign countries.The essay illustrates the environment of co-production between China and foreign countries firstly, to present the integration process. The second chapter describes the living condition of co-production film between China and foreign countries with horizontal and vertical analysis and comparison, to elaborate background in the current environment. Through three stages of integration, that are the role and elements stage, the traditional culture fragment stage, conflict and integration of culture and value stage, it shows clearly the development of process in co-production film. With the development, it also contains the perspectives of market and creation analysis. These both of contents lay the foundation for chapters below.After the introduction of Chapter II, Chapter III focuses on integration characteristics of co-production film between China and foreign countries. In the discussion, the essay gives some examples with a varieties of co-production movies to do the research, as well as compares with the culture in different countries and then seeks out the points that fit the co-production countries. This essay selects three countries which are the most closely relations in film collaboration with China currently, using the text analysis methods to illustrate the features of cultural integration between the two countries in their co-production film respectively. In the following chapter, in-depth studies show the common culture values in many countries, not only the collaboration countries in films making. Through the expression of universal values related to the love, environment, and many other ways, the article presents several strategies to develop the culture integration of co-production films. In the end of chapter, it contains the supplement contents about potential factors, such as culture background, social issues and special events, that are the reason why it has several obstacles in cultural integration within co-production movies. In this article, it reveals clearly current situation about culture integration in co-production film between China and foreign countries in different aspects, and also try to find how to strengthen culture integration in co-production films between China and foreign countries.Since co-production film are developed, creators have had the awareness of culture integration in the film; However, due to various factors, how to "harmony" has become the biggest problem in co-production film and all the creators and researchers constantly think about these over the years. A large number of scholars and creators try to find ways to achieve "harmony" effectively, and this is also the principle to weigh if it is an excellent co-production film. It means how to seek out the method or pattern to culture integration are the key to make an outstanding co-production film. Above the analysis in this article, there are a few suggestions and strategies to develop the co-production films between China and foreign countries in future.The conclusion of this essay is based on the connection of internal culture between countries and the commonality of universal spirit around the world, the article also presents the pattern about culture integration in the film co-production fundamentally. First, the creators need to realize that co-production film is a bi-cultural cooperation, do not blindly pursue its output of culture, also need to strengthen the absorption of other cultures; do not jump into the unilateral thinking, take into account the balanced of input and output; do not over-emphasis on heterogeneity and ignore the culture itself, convey acceptable cultural values to the public. Secondly, an important feature in co-productions film is to combine the culture characteristics in specific corporate countries. Considering the similarities of heroism and chivalrous spirit, history mythology and magical story in co-production film between China and United Sates; the similarities of partly cultural awareness, the historical experiences and realistic themes in co-production film between China and France; the similarities of the features of figures and the way of narrative in co-production film between China and South Korea; and there are also common culture features between China and other countries, these unique characteristics between countries are the points to culture integration in the co-production film. This culture integration can build the relations in co-production film and it is an effective strategy to culture integration as well. Finally, as for the type of co-production film, it also has the preference that be better for culture integration. As the universal values are easier to arouse public sympathy and understanding, the choice of type and subject should be avoided politics, religion and other topics like historical recording etc. as possible as they can. It should seize the interest and curiosity in public and re-build a new cognitive model. Through the analysis below, the type of drama, action, romance and animation in recent years are prevalent and these types of film pay more attention on the expression of the story, emotion, characters, figures, which are easier to access to the culture psychology of the audiences, so that resulting in the increase of the share value in the film.Culture integration strategic research in co-production film between China and foreign countries points out the directions of culture integration and fills the blank the internal connection in co-production film, provides practical value and significance for the development of co-production film between China and foreign countries in future.
